I feel like it would be real neat if there was a default keyboard shortcut in #Gnome to create a new even in Calendar? Just straight up when you talk with someone about doing something, you could hit that and start typing immediately?

Maybe even, if you read about something you want to do, you could select that and then hit the shortcut, and the add event dialog would pop up, with the selected text already in it?

@forteller There is, it's set to Ctrl + N.

@FineFindus That's good! But I meant a general shortcut for the OS level

@pranabekka @FineFindus Oh, yes! That's an incredible idea! Type the title, and maybe even a date and time into the search bar and select Add to calendar to add the event directly! Yes, that's even better than a keyboard shortcut, possibly!

#gnome #GnomeCalendar
