#SilentSunday

Mnweni Abstration (2024). I took this image on my multi-day backpacking trek across South Africa. On this particular morning we scuttled down into a narrow canyon to shoot the sun as it rose, first hitting the far hillsides. I used a telephoto to really narrow in on the wild lines and textures of both the distant and closer rock structures.

"A photo of a narrow mountain valley. The left and right sides of the picture are framed with steep cliffs. In the middle of the image the end of the valley can be seen. It's a greenish steep rockwall. While the cliffs left and right go fairly straight up the rockwall in the middle tilts right at a 45° angle" - Provided by K4mpfire. Thanks for pointing out I missed it.
