Question for folks into #SSG and #webdev, what's a reliable+stable option these days?

I will be updating a website with weekly content updates by someone not tech-savvy at all. They are only comfortable with Word, unfortunately.

I was thinking a static site generator with automatic deployment when pushed to a repo? But I can't settle on a CMS that is super easy to use. Are there options that are really simple to use i.e. - add new pages, edit existing page contents, add PDFs and images??

What would you suggest?

@pheonix I would go the https://micro.blog, no technical know-how required, easy to hands on, customize with the help of a geeky friend and able to cross post to here and elsewhere (threads, linkedin, bluesky, etc..)

@rmdes Wonderful suggestion, I'm definitely eager to check it out - the custom domain thing is a nice addition, will have to see what kinda storage they support? Lots of PDF file and images will be shared since it is a union's blog. Much thanks!

@pheonix interesting use case .. the best is to ask @manton how Microblog handle/displays PDF and what's the storage available for each plan?

@rmdes @pheonix Thanks for the recommendation! There’s no storage limit as long as it’s being used for an actual blog or website, not for example to back up your computer. 🙂 Uploading PDFs is fine too.
