I wish more women were involved in the design of bike accessories, especially luggage. If the designs have to be done by men, please can you ask the females in your social and family life what their favourite hand/shoulder bag is and WHY. Thank you. #biketooter #cycling #womenscycling

I am not sure that this is particularly a gendered problem. I strongly suspect that most people who design these things have never seen a human. Or they wouldn't put sharp edges on the place where the bag rubs against your leg when you carry it when not attached to the bike.

It's possible that they are members of the same species that designed the Xbox controller (designed for hands with two forefingers, two thumbs, and one other finger).

Yes, I find I always carry panniers backwards so the dirtiest bit with the clips isn't banging into me
