Edit: The problem seems to be that the setting isn't allowed for this Wordpress site. New order in then!
Does anybody have experience with Wordpress's "math block"? I can use LaTeX as input, but not MathML, even though it should be possible according to the site https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/math-block/.
LaTeX renders as math and MathML, but MathML doesn't get rendered.
@SamiMaatta where did you get that there's a setting?
Looking at the source code (https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/blob/a2338dffffbcfcdf7b05d087e2178d82847ca0ba/packages/block-library/src/math/edit.js), I can't see how it would take MathML input: it looks like it always tries to run it through the LaTeX to MathML routine.
You can put MathML in the custom HTML block, though.
@christianp oh, okay! I only assumed so based on a discussion with my coworker and based on the docs, which states that you could input MathML code. We assumed we must be missing a setting somewhere.
Oh, apparently there is a setting that has to be changed for MathML input. Now to just find the setting...
