Fossils of sea lilies can be found in rivers in England, and they were once believed to be fairy coins. They are also called "star stones" and are said to bring victory over enemies.

I always wonder what people 500 or 1000 years ago though of these things. They must have seemed so magical. Especially if taken to an area where there was nothing like that.

These fossils look like Xmas ornaments.
