15 second trailcam video taken at night of a large porcupine ambling down a wooded trail. As it gets closer to a small stream that crosses the trail, it is distracted by movement. As it turns to see what is moving it simultaneously raises its back quills. After the “danger” is averted, it continues across the little bridge, its quills still raised.
