Anyone got anything cool or good or hopeful going on real quick, I could use some of that

@jonny uhhhhhhhh delta.chat is more popular than anticipated, there's a new shortest-path algorithm that beats Dijkstra, PHP for websites is still fun...?

@jonny The squirrels in the park are getting to know me - they come running up to me now and some even take almonds from my fingers. Sometimes I'm mobbed by more than a dozen. It's a small thing, but it makes me happy 🙂

I always look out for the one with one eye, a poorly paw, missing the end of his tail. I have named him "Lucky". He always gets an extra nut.

I hope they are big and soft and you get em before they become woody! (Or one of them is left to become enormous and woody, I can never help myself)

@jonny I'll be attending my PhD graduation ceremony on the 22nd, and I get to wear this! 😂

A UK graduation gown for Doctorates. It's a long red gown with a blue collar and sleeves along with a funny little black hat.

Something I’ve been understanding better is it’s a kindness to have the opportunity to be kind,

So here’s a thread of simple stories that involve kindness.

About three weeks ago Stella, an almost 2-year old retriever-lab mix ate some cheesecloth was in the trash. Next week she needed surgery;

@jonny 1. I got to hug my best friend again and tell him I love him the other day.
2. I installed Navidrome on my (old but still good!) Raspberry Pi because I let my music library languish after dumping Spotify.
3. I'm buying CDs and an optical drive so I can build a proper digital library.
4. I saw a kitty today. :3

We're all still in this together. You're not alone, friend. ❤️

@jonny@neuromatch.social my eating has been much less disordered (thanks to both partner and I making an attempt) and I have enjoyed cooking

I am also getting better at doing arpeggios on the guitar and have started loosely faffing about with little mini solos

I am also becoming more efficient and precise at chord changes, yay

also whatever unknown distressing chronic health thing I had for the last two weeks has, at least temporarily, subsided for now

also I went to the dentist and while my jaw is still a little sore today due to the work I need done, there has been a noted improvement in dental health thanks to the dentist's tips

They were, most significantly, intact! I can get them even better but they were recognizably crêpes, which was the previously missing part.

I don't know how to do that and it sounds awesome. Thank you for defying the apparent limitations of the physical world by knowing a bunch about it

@jonny This is very small but our couch broke this weekend and we were worried it was ruined forever and we were very sad because we love it and it was expensive but then someone fixed it today for pretty cheap and now it is literally better than it was before!
