@globalmuseum These are absolutely stunning. It's interesting that by the time the 1960's came around, and artists had taken on influences from non-European and pre-modern arts and crafts, these designs became perfectly contemporary.

@globalmuseum Pottery from ancient days always fascinates me; I think of the hands, so long ago, that fashioned it, then later, daily used it. It's a connection to our human family from long ago.

I'd suspect they might even be dishwasher proof (glazed, not cheap screenprint) and likely microwave oven proof too!

@globalmuseum someone should replicate these designs on modern day pottery. I would totally buy ceramic cups that looked like these. Dynamite classic Minoan design.
