Now that Donald Trump thinks Denmark does not own Greenland just because Vikings discovered it and we have paid the upkeep for about a thousand years, I do hope the people of Scotland give away his golf courses, which by the same standard cannot be his, just because he built them and financed their upkeep for 14 years.

1/ There was a big push for an 'Unexplained Wealth Order' investigation. How were they financed???
2/ He 'conned' Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond, with the promise of 1,000s of jobs. - 13yrs later in 2023, there were ~80 ... many part-time.
3/ Salmond later had his own Russian tv show. Oh! What a surprise! I wonder if #Krasnov may have been involved in organising that??

@Retreival9096 Many Vikings were Danes or Norwegians, and since Norway was partly ruled by the Danish king Harald Bluetooth, viking history is indeed associated with Denmark.
It is a personal view, but in my mind, Norway and Denmark are very much two sides to the same coin. At least in a cultural sense.
"Discovered" and "upkeep" are terms which might need careful disambiguation here...
