I am thinking of going to #FOSDEM. But the travel time is quite long 14-16h+. So I would like to combine it with some additional trip "nearby". Any recommendations what to do in winterly times?

@linos Bruges is a nice medieval city 1h by train from Brussels.
@linos Gent is a lovely city. Amsterdam also worth a visit, and you even might have better connections from and to there.
