Question: Is there a way of downloading entire books as PDFs, and not just 20 pages at a time?
@juergen_hubert I am afraid that 20 pages is the maximum limit. I suspect that it is for some legal reasons, because it doesn't make much sense.
Well, since many other digital libraries allow downloading whole books, the legal reasons don't make much sense either. Unless they have copyrighted books in their archives as well.
That doesn't mean I won't be able to use these books, but if I want to have offline copies, I have to do some tedious PDF merging...
@juergen_hubert yes, there are many copyrighted books, so they need to be quite strict about these. When you have an account in a library of one of Czech universities or in the Czech National Library, you can read even books that are only 20 years old. Otherwise, only public domain books are free to read online.
