@itnotes I was curious about what NIC was used? Maybe I missed it in the article.

Context: my understanding is that Realtek stuff under Linux burns a lot of CPU whereas under Intel NICs this is not the case.

It may explain the difference between FreeBSD and Debian/Alpine CPU utilization in your test.

I still expect FreeBSD to use less though. Ha!
