What is the point of playing a track that you remove half of. It's like ants under my skin. We can handle a few fucks and shits, BBC. We are not children. It is 31 years old (sorry). If we still have to be subjected to a barrage of news of murder and death and catastrophe and prince fucking Andrew, we can hear some Ill Communication. For GODS SAKE.
Our favorite ridiculous bowdlerization was a middlebrow commercial radio station that bleeped the naughty words of songs playing "Walk on the Wild Side" and the line, "But she never lost her head, even when she was giving [bleep]." Same word, but see, the second time it was NAUGHTY.
