@vantablack It's one of the banes of having long hair. You can kiiiiind of get away with having it braided for a few days, but it'll start looking pretty terrible by day two or three (within a day if it's fine hair), though it might be a bit easier to brush it out. (Adding styling products to keep it smoothed down always makes it look even worse too IMO, and always made my scalp super itchy even if they were supposed to be safe to leave in.)
