Just discovered Murderbot, in which Alexander Skarsgård plays a security drone who's hacked the module that makes it obey humans.
It's sent on duty with a group of hippies from an anarchist planet, and tries to make sense of how they relate to each other. While trying to keep them safe and avoid revealing it's "gone rogue".

It reminds me a bit of The Orville, lighthearted but still a ripping yarn. Hard to stop watching too. Tonight I smashed through 6 of the 25-ish minute episodes.

It was a real moreish series, and stuck well to the books. The next series should be aired in 2026, but in the meantime I'd recommend the Murderbot Diaries books that the show was based of. The author is online at @marthawells, of this parish.
