I figure a good number of you heads’ll be interested to know this exists. Picked it up at blessed Housmans the other day, and really looking forward to getting into it when I’m done with “Fascist Yoga” (to which it seems like it’ll be a useful corrective/palate cleanser).

@adamgreenfield if you haven't seen it already.. think you'll find this article fascinating and may be some overlap with that book. I think was shared while you were 'on a break' from here. #permaculture #ClimateChange #Weather #rainfall #drought #vegetationhttps://www.resilience.org/stories/2023-07-17/millan-millan-and-the-mystery-of-the-missing-mediterranean-storms/
Jumps around a whole lot, lurches wildly in tone from one sentence to the next, coulda really used an editor…but is just a massive storehouse and compendium of lore, lineage and useful information, and therefore a joy to read for all its shortcomings.
I wish Ingram hadn’t second-guessed his instinct to call the book “Volunteers,” though: that really would have been the perfect title.
@adamgreenfield honestly I would never have picked up this book with current cover and title, but titling it volunteers probably would've changed that
@adamgreenfield amazing book cover. Has a strong 70s vibe but I’m into it.
