@ramsey fwiw, I transferred to Porkbun 5 years ago and don’t regret it
@ramsey I was just contemplating a big migration myself. What made you choose Porkbun? And were you able to migrate everything? I’ve got a few with unusual TLDs.
@shiflett I chose Porkbun because others have recommended it, and no one has recommended anything else. :-)
I haven’t tried migrating everything yet, so I can’t say yet whether everything will migrate, but they do seem to support a lot of TLDs.
@heiglandreas @shiflett That’s how payment worked on Gandi when I started using them back in 2010.
@shiflett I would like to say I did more research, but I didn’t. I got a few emails today for domains that are renewing soon, each for something like $140. I said, “NOPE!” and went to transfer them immediately. I picked Porkbun because I had heard about them, and the name has grown on me, despite earlier reservations I had about it. Plus, I think the artwork is cute. 😁
@ramsey I’ve used Namecheap since 2012 without any issues.
