I got my official PhD paperwork back from LSE today, along with some very kind and thoughtful notes from my examiners Oli and Kurt. It’s kinda mindblowing to see it laid out there in black and white: I passed, they want a clean copy of the thesis for their archive, it is done.

@adamgreenfield You know I'd be interested in reading that, too. Although I may just get it through inter-library.
@fishsauce I consider it deprecated. It’s not up to my standards.
This degree, too, was a limit-experience, and like many of the limit-experiences I pursue, definitely more Type II Fun than otherwise. This one aged me more than most, though.
Oh! Speaking of: has anyone done the Springtide 50K? Is there anything you’d suggest knowing about it before I sign up? #ultra #ultrarunnerhttps://ukultra.eventrac.co.uk/e/springtide-50k-11093
@adamgreenfield No te puedo ayudar ,pero hazlo y ya experimentarás y compartirás esa experiencia , saludos y mucha fuerza y ánimo

Hey! Congrats on the degree! LSE's my alma mater too — but 1,000s of years ago and just my Masters. Good luck on that ultra, too! Looks like fun!
