@danmcd It's not about exporting docx—LibreOffice has been fine in that respect for over a decade—but about interoperating with tracked changes and notes in big files emitted by Word, and not corrupting the docx file. As of my last set of copy edits to a novel (two months ago) the answer is conditionally, "yes". (As I just got the page proofs back for checking …)
