The tent is a Hilleberg Kaitum 3 GT, a proper four season tent, but it does lack extended snow flaps on the fly for anchoring in deep snow. Luckily it has been enough to build a low wall of snow against it and make sure all the pole ends are well buried.

Willow grouse taking off from its hiding place. Very difficult to spot these fellas in the undergrowth before they flush, and usually you are almost on top of them when they do. Always a proper jump scare.
