My best guess is that they’re either on the way home from a strenuous workout at the gym or they lived in Northern Canada until recently and so are acclimated to much colder temperatures.
Definitely a thing amongst those I've known who were incubated and hatched north of about Muskoka.
But also amongst youth lacking complete forebrains like my 12 yr old SWOntario spawn.
Maybe it was her adoration of Frozen & Elsa? There was one very cold Hallowe'en when she was scandalizing neighbours running around in JUST her cheap thin Elsa dress. Belting out "the COLD NEVER BOTHERED ME ANYWAAAAYYYY!!!" through the neighbourhood.
Mind you, I was a warm kid, too. Not now.🤣
