Walked past the gas station with my skis yesterday. Realised that it's been a long time since the gas price on the big glowing sign outside meant anything to me. I haven't owned a car in years, and my wife's got an electric.
The rural / small-town fascist voters have it right. Us suburbanites around the big cities really do not share their concerns. But I'd be happy to vote to reinstate and increase the EV subsidy.
