I’ve just been surveying some more paths for Ramblers Cymru and Carmarthenshire Council. More successful than the last batch assigned to me as I was able to walk them all. Though I did need secateurs for the last 20 meters or so. No way I was going to let some brambles stop me.

Walked through some lovely woodland which will be spectacular when the bluebells are in bloom.

#FootpathFriday

Photo of a sunken path through deciduous woodland. The path is a carpet of brown, fallen leaves. The trees bare save for the holly in the foreground. Ivy and moss creeps up the tree trunks and twisted branches. Moss, ferns and the lance like leaves of bluebells grow in the banks of the path. The sky glimpsed through the lacy canopy is cloudy with fragments of blue.
