@glynmoody Also as pictured (assuming it came from the MoD) it eschews XBox or Sony controllers—which all squaddies come pre-trained on these days, and which are cheap as chips (in military procurement terms)—in favour of some sort of crappy 1980s rc plane controller. Which seems unwise …
@cstross @glynmoody that photo doesn’t show up for me in the article (I block lots of stuff so that may be the reason), but I suspect it is highly unlikely this is the actual training kit. Rather a stock or maybe even AI image that the Reg slapped on there.
