A splash of green for this winter's day. Milkweed plant from above, its leaves come out the stem in alternating 90° angles, bigger the lower down the stem and smaller up top. The current leaf pair emerging look like a pair of lips. A little bit like Audrey from Little Shop of Horrors (without the teeth), "Seymour, Feed Me!"

A fallen leaf from a rubber plant on a black stone surface. The leaf is brown and gold, more brown and withered at the edges, with diagonal stripes coming out of the center stem. It's beautiful even in decay.
