English reactionaries rather like racism, but hate cruelty to animals.

#NigelFarage learnt the hard way when he denounced #TheNewHuntingBan. His chums in #TheDailyMail gave Farage a slot to rage against the proposed ban on #trailhunts. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15415269/Farage-vows-fight-Keir-Starmers-stop-trail-hunting.html

Oops! Every top-voted comment in the #DailyMail backed the ban. Many say #ReformUK would lose their vote based on #Farage’s promise to overturn it.

Opinion polls say the same. #FoxHunting is hated.

Farage vows to fight amid outrage against plans to stop trail hunting

The Countryside Alliance said Labour had 'alienated rural people', with a poll suggesting 65 per cent of voters think the Government unfairly neglects country communities.

Happy 25th anniversary to this Daily Mail article from the year 2000, proclaiming that internet "may be just a passing fad as millions give up on it".

#Dailymail? You mean #DailyFail

Not a newspaper, just a rag.
