Some more Aliens: Another Glorious Day in the Corps last night. We still died horribly of course, but survived longer and got to see some cool expansion content (notice the queen who never moves in the pics since we didn't even get close enough to aggro her).

Rep #ZoeLofgren (D-CA) is an effective questioner. She introduced #evidence from Smith’s investigation that #LindseyGraham under oath told Smith’s team that if somebody told #Trump that #aliens came down & stole Trump ballots, that Trump would've believed it.
Rep #DarrellIssa (R-CA) behaved outrageously, he basically ranted, never allowed #JackSmith to answer & stole extra time. #JamieRaskin tried to negate that stolen time by talking simultaneously in objection so Issa couldn’t keep testifying.

Had a super unique #TTRPG experience tonight with an #Aliens themed one-shot.

We played in the absolute darkness. Everyone had small hand flashlights to look at our character sheets & around the game map - a space station & ship experiencing systems outages & an alien outbreak.

It replicated the feeling of our characters using flashlights to look around the ship. We even had a cool paper in a file folder to simulate an xray!

(Used the Never Stop Blowing Up system.)

At one point a shot hitting a xenomorph started acidic blood eating its way through toward the outer hull. We decided no amount of credits was worth this deadly cargo recovery contract with Wayland-Utani. So we abandoned any plans to push deeper into the ship, retraced our steps, fought past 3 adult xenomorphs & sprinted to our ship.

Now to xray each of us... 😅
