I love the little cat paws sprinkled across the view from my studio window. Hope you all are staying cozy and enjoying the winter as much as I am!

Good morning, human. How may I help you today? Any carrots or cookies you’d like me to deposit in your account?

#Iran on my mind this morning. This is the church where my family went every Friday morning pre-1979 (our weekends were Thursday-Friday, our school week was Saturday-Wednesday).
What's amazing about this picture is the combination of Christian symbols, Islamic art, and Persian culture. The Farsi script on the tile work reads "Love one another, as I have loved you." The star above is a traditional Islamic symbol and an exact replica of the one in the Royal Mosque in Isfahan.
