Along the Black Sea coast in Odesa, sea horses have been found washed up on the shore at densities of 2-92 specimens per square meter of coastline. The number of dead individuals gradually decreases in the direction of the 16th station of the Big Fountain. — Ukrinform.

One of the reasons I love the #Barbican because it's such a psychogeographically distinct 'realm'.

The City has old, modern & semi-modern all nestled uneasily side by side, whereas the Barbican is a #brutalist nautilus which crawled into #London out of the murky Thames.

And one that has built a strong shell around itself, to keep the shifting tides of the City at bay. (Sure, a few little old things reside within. But they know which decade is in charge here…)

#London! Does anyone know what happened to the cats at Karaway Bakery? Their Instagram hasn’t updated since mid-‘24, which in looking back was around the last time I saw their *incredible* scalded Lithuanian rye on the shelves hereabouts.
