@kissane @RakowskiBartosz A person I disliked, in part because he always acted entitled to my attention (sometimes creepily), approached me at a conference reception to say that I had blocked him on Twitter, probably b/c he'd landed on a blocklist, so would I reconsider?
Yeah, no, I'd blocked him by hand. And did not appreciate him cornering me about it.
I... wouldn't want to give more like him an opening for this harassy dodge.

@dsalo @RakowskiBartosz Yeah, I once had a conference attendee talk me into going to a nearby cafe with *such special coffee* in a city I didn't know at all, and it turned out he wanted to get me alone and put me on the spot about why I'd blocked him. People are strange.
