Would anyone bringing a mobile #Aranet to #FOSDEM be able to contribute data to your project?
Similar to the #IndoorCO2MapDataRecorder project that Aurel Wünsch has built which creates a searchable map on https://indoorco2map.com/
@OskarImKeller cool, I wonder how we could get our measurements published by that guy, I see no way to contact him or to submit an application to be added
Everyone can contribute to the monitor (I often do). The app is okay for buildings, as long as they are listed on Open Street Map. The function to record public transportation is too buggy and cumbersome to use.
The main problem I see for a conference is that everyone would need to diligently record the room they were in when they recorded the CO2 levels, as the tool only lists buildings.
I'll see if I can find his contacts and update this.

How exactly have you set up the data exchange, and how the data exchange happens?
Sorry, maybe I should be clearer. I am not a developer, I have downloaded the app and am taking measurements, that's all.
This has the contacts of the developer Aurel Wünsch

And he seems to be on Blueskye.
Even better, I just saw that he will be speaking at #FluConf

@fosdem @RichiH I want to bring or fund at least 10 of these devices to the upcoming #FOSDEM. Seemingly genuine sensors can be had for ~17 (not 70+) EUR per sensor on AliExpress.

Would FOSDEM infra team allow plugging them into USB port of the video boxes if I solder and bring them, or would you rather manufacture them by an internal team (for trust reasons)?
Hoping for your quick reply.
