I believed that we had some dignity, but now I see the EU submitting to the US. Pathetic.
You are aggravating the military dependency on an unreliable ally who is threatening to invade a European country and friendly nations across the ocean. Weak.
It restored nothing. We should ban america's service, product and buisness.
Also I encourage anyone who reads this to contact the EU MEPs of their country. A list with their email adresses can be found on the EU website. We might still be able to stop this nonsense.

Did not expect the EU to support America first and the maga crowd at our own expense.
So saying this deal ist good as it achieves "stability and predictability for citizens and businesses" then I argue, this is the very basic property of each and every agreement. That's what agreements are good for. So why tooting about it?
It looks like it's going to have to be the citizens to do the whole work, here, as the politicians proved to be less than useless.

This was the time to stand up to Trump. But instead you bend the knee like we're worthless without him.
I would have loved to see a strong and principled EU. However, we saw an EU that talks about ideals instead of living them. An EU that values trade and markets much higher than ethical values when the push comes to shove.
I am so very disappointed.

During the negotiations, the EU has held firm on the things that matter to our citizens and businesses. For example, by liberalising certain trade that is of mutual interest from the US into the EU, our importers and consumers will save around €5 billion in duties each year, while core EU industrial and agricultural sensitivities remain protected.
